I’d like to express my dismay over the oil spill in the Gulf. I wish I was there to help with the clean up. I’ll borrow sentiments I read over at Querencia.
While BP may or may not have accepted full responsibility for the spill…
“…if you drive a car, truck or tractor, enjoy your lights at night and heat in the winter; if you are not living off the grid somewhere on well water and deer meat, be prepared to carry your share of the blame for this latest gust in a much larger storm called Hurricane Us.”
I’d also like to acknowledge my friend, Christa, who just finished spring semester and will be on this very coastal stretch for the next 4 weeks.
