The virtues of walking

Simply amazing. Even though I haven’t run the full 3 miles in 3 weeks, today I ran it in the shortest time ever, 36:25. Only 25 seconds away from my goal. I followed my run with a 1.5 mile walk. So, 4.5 miles for the day. Hm. It’s not that I haven’t run, I’ve just been doing sprint/walks instead of running without stop. I wonder how I can work this into some sort of process rather than just this random sort of getting it done how ever. OR maybe that IS the process. :)

    That’s right!
You totally got it–the process is an ongoing process–a living, breathing, changing process–you hit the nail on the head!
    Awesome with the running times!
You’re doing fab! Now if I could just get off my own arse! LOL

It’s better on your joints and internal organs to speed walk rather than run. Maybe you got a little spring in your step after our little hike? I’ve noticed that with somethings I do better at them after having taken a few days off. Congrats!
