Define: Wonder

She said, “Hello.”
And I said “Hello, what are you doing?”
Then she laughed and I laughed.
We laughed for a while, then she said, “I love you.”
And I said, “I love you too.”
She followed that with “Where’s Bobby?”
I said, “Oh! I’m not sure, I think Bobby is taking a nap.”
Then she started to laugh and I laughed too.
We laughed for a while.

She’s two. How is it possible to have a complete conversation with a two year old?

Because at 2 they’re becoming little people. :) Adorable.

Yeah, I guess it just amazes me the more and more person like she becomes. I mean, logically and reasonably I understand that’s what babies do, grow up. But still it amazes me and makes me so joyful to watch it happen.

What fun! My youngest is six now and has an amazing vocabulary. It’s from all the conversations we had when she was two…;)

I loved reading this. I have come back to it a few times because it is so sweet and charming. Kids amaze me. It’s interesting to see how much they remember even when you’re away.

i love when kids are going through the stage of discovering their own vocabulary and using it like that. :) my 3 year old baby cousin went through a stage where she asked everyone their “real” name (besides mommy or daddy or mamaw or papaw) and she went to her grandfather and said, “what’s your name?” and he said, “david…” and she said:

    “oh…” *perplexed*

“my left butt cheek’s name is david.”
