Day 9 of 90: Monthly Progress Photo

May 31st, 2005 Posted in Fitness

I’m not allowing myself to weigh, and I can’t find my tape measure (I’m sure it’s in a box somewhere) but I can still post progress photos. Here is my photo for June.

I feel good about my successes last week, and I know I can do better this week. Though there will be challenges as I may be on the road Friday-Monday. Road trip food sucks. But I’ll just try to plan and take a long healthy stuff, like apples and protein chips. Anyone have any recommendations for food that easy to keep and eat on the road that won’t sabotage my efforts?

dried fruit, nuts, sliced up veggies like carrots. slice cheese tends to keep for a few hours.

    forgot to add..you look GREAT!

    Whoa Hottie!!!

You look fantastic and the french blue is a great color for you!

My suggestions for the travel: beef jerky, nuts, seeds and such. Go for protein and water because it is way more filling.

Can’t wait to hear about your new city.

I swear…you are the cheese in my grits Syddie :)

    You look WONDERFUL!

Now healthy snacks…..mozzarella sticks, carrots, graham crackers and peanut butter, lt popcorn, trail mix…that’s all I can think of now!

    GIRL YOU LOOK *GOOD*

YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! It is so obvious in the pictures your weight loss. I am so proud!! *sniff*

    Damn girl. HAWT!!

(When do you leave? Need some cd mixes?)

Ditto nuts/jerky. Water. Those crystal-lite-on-the-go things are really good. You just put one little packet into a certain size water bottle and you’ve got calorie-free lemonade and what not. Good stuff.

Dried fruit is really good too (I love me some dried mango) but make sure you watch the sugar. Lots of dried fruit is coated with sugar–bleh! I have a hard time finding dried pineapple that isn’t sugar-coated. Pineapple is some of the sweetest damn fruit out there–why does it need sugar??

Everybody else beat me to listing the foods that I was going to suggest! Nuts and seeds are good but watch them carefully: “roasted” sometimes actually means “deep fried”. Did you know popcorn is a whole grain? Btw, your hair looks extra cute in the update pic! Keep up the spectacular effort and good luck with this big move!

Woohooo You look Fantastic, I love that blue on you.

I’m probably too late to add my 2cents about the food but it pretty much echos everyone else.

Nuts, cheese, veggies, I like this popcorn-rice cracker things because they remind me of chips but are sooo healthy [AND YUMMY lol] Dried fruit is a really good idea.

Have fun on your road tripping, can’t wait to here about the update of your new home [for 3months] must be so exciting to take an adventure ;D

  11. Ashley Says:

Anything with protein is great…sunflower seeds, laughing cow cheese, slightly salted mix nuts, or make your own chex/trail mix, or alot of fast food places now have great options, wendys chili and mcdonalds fruit bowl…mmm mcdonalds yumm.
