I’ve broken my own rule and have begun a book before finishing the first. In fact, I’ve broken it repeatedly, so now I’m reading a couple of books at one time:
- Dune
- QED
- There Is a Word for It
- Marathoning for Mortals
- Courage: The Joy of Living Dangerously
- Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot Great Photographs with a Film or Digital Camera
And last night to inspire me after the Thanksgiving gluttony weekend, I picked up my copy of Eating Well for Optimum Health.
It’s just absurd…but kind of fun. This is what happens when I start breaking rules. I don’t just do it a little bit; it gets taken to the extreme. However, I’ve discovered book gluttony is amusing, and perhaps that was a stupid rule in the first place.
