Catch As Catch Can

September 27th, 2006 | No Comments | Posted in Creativity, Painting, Photography

After this weekend I’ll be living alone again. It’s bittersweet. On the one hand, I’m truly looking forward to having my own space again. On the other hand, I don’t want my cousin to have to go out. It sucks that he’ll be gone all through the holidays (every single one). I don’t think he’ll even be back until next summer. Then again, he will miss the rain and he’ll get to see some pretty exotic ports. Still. Still. I don’t want him to go.

I’m getting into a new routine. It’s a multi-prong plan that includes creativity, exercise, diet, study and much more. As usual, I like to take it all or nothing but I’m on day two and feeling good.

Part of my plan that I’m excited about is a daily practice of creativity. Painting. Photography. Writing. Anything, as long as I do something creative everyday. And I’ve started doing morning pages again.

Here are some things I’ve created this week:

I’ve also got an uber-chore list house fitness plan. Maintenance that has gone long unsung. Keeping order in my life, my closet and my kitchen. It’s all a package of living like an adult and trying to build a practice of activity that equals the lifestyle and ultimately the life I’d like to live.

Catch as catch can means by any means possible.
