Earlier this month I took a weekend trip over to Roanoke, Virginia to attend my cousin Laura’s wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and the city itself was delightful. Not too big with plenty to do.
Only two glitches, I’d have to say the Bradford side represented well. First, my granddad officiated and was a bit nervous because he called Laura by the wrong name during the ceremony. He corrected it and it was a nice icebreaker. He did a good job. Then, at the rehearsal I mentioned how nice it would be if they had a rainbow for the wedding. Then, right after the bride kissing, the skies opened up and unleashed rain, wind and hail. But as soon as it came, it went and there was indeed a rainbow.
Then we danced the night away. It was quite fun. Here are some of my favorite photos from the event. Warning: excessive photo posting below, it was hard to pick just a few.

Oh and just one more, to show off my gift to the couple.
