Wouldn’t You Like To Know

June 28th, 2007 | 6 Comments | Posted in Gleaned, Personal Notes

I found this meme over at Making It Lovely and even though I wasn’t tagged, I decided to participate.

Rules of the game: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to then report this on their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. They then need to tag 7 others and list their names on their blog. They are also asked to leave a comment for each of the tagged, letting them know they have been tagged and to read the blog.

This seems pretty cool, except since I wasn’t tagged and I’m going at this purely for the heck of it I’m also going to tweak the rules. Give 7 random facts/habits about yourself, but one of them has to be fictitious. Then anyone who wants to guess which one is false can play along in the comments.

So, step 1: 7 random fact/habits about me:
1. I worked forMichael Graves’ design studio in Princeton, NJ.
2. For 2 months, I lived with a family in Langres, France.
3. I went to a casting call for the first season of The Biggest Loser.
4. In college I learned to weld to create metal sculptures.
5. I’ve written a novel.
6. I’m a professional belly dancer.
7. In grade school, I was placed in remedial reading classes. Then, 20 or so years later, my verbal score on the GRE was in the 96th percentile.

Cool, okay, if you want to play you can guess which one is made-up in the comments. Now, step 2: tag 7 others to play. I’m choosing 7 of my favorite blogs, so even if they don’t play along this can serve as a bit of linky-love:
Kallipugos
Not Martha
Something To Say
Maison Pants
I Have Questions
Cybertoad
Christine

In about a week, I’ll post the answer to which of my random factoids is untrue.
