At this point I’m living by the check list (lots and lots of things to do). This morning I accomplished several things and I felt like I was solving a Tetris puzzle as methodically put things where they go, suitcase, trunk, library, trash can.
Chris arrives tomorrow. (TOMORROW!) I’ve missed him very much. And we are driving back to Washington on Friday. I haven’t decided if I am going to record it as I did on the way down or not. I suppose I will just for the heck of it. I am quite behind on posting new videos to Living Juicy TV. I’ll have to catch up on those when I get back home.
Being in Texas has been great. It has gone by quickly. I still ended up feeling like I’ve run out of time–I didn’t get to see many of my friends in Houston (except Natalie who put me up in fine style). I did spend a ton of time with my family especially my mother, which was a blast. I even got to work on some poetry, sing in the choir, take Payten to the movies and go to a family wedding. It’s has been good.
I’m looking forward to being home again, in my own place and snuggle in with my honeypie. I’m also really looking forward to the drive, which we are dubbing our Gypsy Road Trip–but I wish it were Friday already and I wish I already had everything done.
